February 29th : The Longest Lunch

On Friday the 29th of February, Chef Simon Fawcett joined 4 other chefs from leading Geelong Restuarants to participate in the “Wolrd’s Longest Lunch” charity event.

Described as an ‘elegant garden party’ held in the Geelong Botanic Gardens, Eastern Park, Simon represented Tigerella with his Canapés. Examples include Duck on a Peach Crisp, Pork Egg Nets and Avocado & Midori Ice cream. The day included an auction of the chefs, and a great sum of money was raised to assist in the great work Barwon Heath offers.
